5:1 oil pump for 16 gal drums
-
Pneumatic pumps for oil with the ratio 5:1 and 9:1.
-
Recommended Usage Oil pumps with a ratio of 5:1 are the most common pumps
used for the distribution of oil from holding tanks or drums to the metered
outlets. The pumps will service several dispensing outlets depending on the
distance from the holding tank to the material outlet.
The pump is recommended for installations with a large material demand.
Pumps with a ratio of 9:1 develop a higher pressure and are recommended for
longer delivery lines. Compared with a 5:1 pump, this pump compromises distance
with delivery.
Warning: Do not use pumps for gasoline
-
Not suited to pump water based fluids or solvents such as antifreeze, ink
or mixtures of sealers or highly flammable products.

Technical Description
The pump consists of aluminum castings and carbon steel. The control module
has very few moving parts and springs resulting in a very simple air motor
operation. The double acting pump performs at a very low noise level, without
vibration. The air motor parts are CAD precision machined from. All seals and
O-Rings are precision fitted. The piston is made from polished, treated steel.
Pneumatic pumps require clean, moisture free air pressure! Best results are
achieved if an Air Filter / Regulator / Lubricator, see our No 20 216, is
installed in front of the air inlet opening. To avoid damages we recommend a 90
PSI air pressure setting. Warning: An increase in air pressure above 120 PSI
may result in damages to the pump and accessories.
